Since 2021 we’ve told in-depth stories about people doing front lines work to improve mental health conditions in this state of California. We humanize the issue of mental health by connecting our lawmakers to personal stories of those on the front lines of the battle. The work has earned media coverage for the Steinberg Institute and assisted them in promoting legislation on a variety of topics including the workforce shortage, mental health for unhoused individuals, the 988 Crisis line and more.
