Ebonee Smith
Ebonee's passion for activism began at the age of 14 with her involvement in the University of Massachusetts' New World Theater program, Project 2050. This performing arts initiative focused on amplifying the voices of marginalized communities through storytelling and the five elements of hip-hop. Using her talents in writing and poetry, Ebonee (She, her, hers) performed for notable figures like Alice Walker, Gloria Steinem, Jane Fonda, and Eve Ensler, bringing attention to important social issues.
After earning a degree in Marketing from Hampton University, Ebonee spent over nine years working in content and digital strategy. She has consistently focused on driving progressive change within every company she has worked for. At Better.com, she spearheaded initiatives to educate minority borrowers on home ownership, including efforts to provide resources to young individuals in underserved communities before they reach college.
Currently, as a producer at Ethical Narrative, Ebonee combines her love of art, strategy, and social impact
