The Compassionate Camera

We recognize that appearing in a film can bring up a variety of feelings in people, especially when sharing a personal or difficult story.

We practice Healing Centered Engagement. Our filming process is designed to nurture our storytelling participants, leaving them feeling empowered by their experience with us.

We provide mental health supports for our storytellers, which makes us uniquely qualified to address stories of a more sensitive nature.

Our Director of Ethics and Social Responsibility, Tamara Knox ACSW, oversees all of our work.
